Truly hilarious.

I've watched this half a dozen times now and I still crack up every time. It's exactly what I'd expect of an "awesome" video.

Beautifully crafted.

This is a fantastic movie! The artwork and animation are top notch. The music fits perfectly. The story, although short and leaving unanswered questions, is also quite interesting and engaging. I really enjoyed this.

A small nitpick: the sunlight should appear from the top down on anything tall (character/poles/antenna), not from the bottom up. ... Unless it's otherworldly and tyou meant to do that. :-)

A great Star Trek parody!

Excellent work on the animation, voice acting and basically all parts of this movie. The jokes were pretty obvious (modified crew-member names, and overacted mannerisms), but they still tickle my funny bone. I enjoy a good Star Trek parody and this one is top notch. I loved the "singing" at the end too. Great work overall.

The message is, however, dead wrong. Crying, "Don't deport illegal aliens." is akin to crying, "Don't punish law breakers." If you break the law you should be punished as the law prescribes. It truly is that simple. That's why we have laws in the first place. Illegal aliens working for extremely low wages in horrible conditions are nothing more than modern day slaves. Amnesty is also wrong and won't fix it. Let's start calling this situation what it is. It's slavery. Wake up and smell the coffee.

Not very funny.

I really liked the art and animation. The difference in the drawing styles was great and made the whole thing much more interesting.

Sadly (and this is the part that will probably make a lot of people dislike my review), it wasn't very funny and the voice acting was pretty awful.

First of all, random != funny. Most of the jokes were either nonexistant (some random person blowing up isn't a joke, per se, unless it is ironic or came after foreshadowing), or simply not all that funny because the timing wasn't very good. Timing make a good joke great. I will give you props for not using a single swear word. Cursing is also not automatically funny despite what so many people seem to think.

Also, I'm sorry to say the voice acting was just terrible. Pretty much all the male characters sounded extremely similar. The females all sounded different enough to make me think they were perhaps different people, but the acting itself was really lacking.

Now don't get me wrong. I give credit for the work involved in creating this movie and I understand how hard it is to voice act and come up with truly funny jokes. It simply falls short in my book and would not have made it to the front page.

Very funny, even if nonsensical.

This is probably the best movie I have ever seen where the characters talk so much without saying a single word. I don't know Final Fantasy from anything, so the song's significance was lost on me, but it was still a great movie. The animation and facial expressions were fantastic, and I loved the ending.

Pretty, but tedious.

This is a very beautiful "game". I was really expecting an actual game and was quite disappointed with what this actually was. The idea is interesting and the graphics/animation/transitions are quite pretty. Unfortunately, it simply did not hold my interest very long. If I were to continue reading it, I would definitely want faster transitions.

I mean, this is essentially a novel in email format, which means it essentially a boatload of text, which means you should have focused on more efficient ways of displaying and navigating through the text quickly. The whole scrolling thing is pretty, but from a user's perspective, I hated it. It's slow and tedious. Just give me smaller text and stick it all on screen at once. Or at least give keyboard shortcuts for everything so navigation isn't such a pain.

Again this is a cool idea with great visuals and a lousy interface.

Flashback!

Wow. Nice work on this animation! The gags and whatnot are a far cry from what I had imagined for this song. But I suppose that's reasonable considering the last time I heard it was about 30 years ago. I used to listen to this song (repeatedly) on an old 33 rpm record when I was probably about 5 years old. It's funny how I immediately remembered it. What a blast from the past! Thanks for the memories.

Simple and pretty.

Nice work on the animation. Were you perhaps inspired by the book Johnathon Livingston Seagull?

So true.

"What's considered art is up to you." Amen, brother!

It is naive to think you can change people. It is equally naive to think you shouldn't try.
