Good marks for a great flash.

I really like your work, Sam T, although I do not agree with your message.

I guess you have to be on one side or the other to create a good satirical view of the other side. I'm just tired of the same old jokes. "George Bush is dumb" = not funny. "Entire administration is evil" = not funny. "Fox news is biased" = not funny.

On the plus side, "Where those two women in my office this whole time" = funny. Try to slip a few more non-political jokes in and, in my opinion, you'll have a continued winner.

Wow!

There is no really good way to say this, but I usually don't care for your work.

This, however, was fantastic. The movement was very clean and the animation quite smooth. It really matched the feel of the music quite well. I loved the "Plimptoon" feel that was exuded throughout the piece.

Well done!

Sexual-Lobster responds:

thanks, but that's ok, my usual stuff does not have broad appeal, i have to admit i have no idea what plimptoon is though

Astounding art and a wonderful piece.

I was left speechless by this piece!

The art, movement, camera angles, timing, story, and basically every part of this film were all absolutely top notch! If this doesn't get into and stay in the top 50 of all time, I will cry myself to sleep for the next month. You easily deserve it.

Anyone for a little Shadowrun? :-)

A thought provoking piece.

I must say I was truly surprised and impressed by this piece being on Newgrounds at all. I never expect to see something around here with a really positive, thought provoking, quality, moral message to it. When you consider that most Newgrounders fall into a younger demographic, it's surprising when it happens. That being said, I think this is a perfect location for such a piece. Admins take notice: it will be a shame if this doesn't make it to the front page.

The art and animation are very well done and I enjoyed the music choice as well. Overall, this is a piece of top notch work.

I have been an avid church-goer for only the last 18 months or so. I think I fall into the same trap as many young people in terms of the here-after. I don't know what I truly believe yet, but I do know what I *want* to believe. This movie helps me to continue thinking about all the possibilities of what was, is, and may be. Good work.

Godlimations responds:

cool! thanks for your positive comment!

Great work!

Yeah, it's an ad, of sorts, so I'm not overly enthused about hte message, but the work itself is top notch!

I have a minor nitpick. Why do the contests start when the "stoplight" turns red and not green? Ready. Set. Stop! That was odd.

Loved it.

Great job on this! The movie is very well done and I laughed through the whole thing.

The whole "George bush is an idiot" and his entire cabinet is full of evil self-centered conservatives joke is tired and lame. I know it gets cheap laughs, so I can see why you use it. That's fine. The way Cheney is always at the undisclosed location" is pretty cute and makes for a good running gag.

One thing I found ironic is that Cindy Sheehan (and all the anti-war protesters) attacked someone who believes he is helping people. I guess they're not anti-violence after all (nor very smart).

I really liked the whole Scooby Doo opening and the Super Mario Brothers game scenes. Great work fitting those in!

Anyhow, as usual the movie was well paced, had some great jokes and was thoroughly enjoyable ... even if I don't agree with the message one bit. (I'd say more about that, but it doesn't belong in a review.)

Am I missing something?

This movie is very well made and looks great. The art style is very clean and well drawn. I think the motion is a little choppy, like it could use a higher frame rate with a few more animation frames, but it's good over all.

Outside of that, I don't get it. I feel like I am missing something. Perhaps ther eis an in-joke or some cultural thing here that I just don't understand. Some dogs dance around to some different music clips and that's pretty much it. I fail to see a reason why I should care about this movie.

I don't understand why this piece made it to the front page. Don't get me wrong. It's well made, it's just not interesting to me.

A wonderful, inspirational piece.

I am so happy to see a movie on Newgrounds that has a really positive message. You did great work on this music video. I even had a bit of a lump in my throat in parts. I honestly don't know what else to say. Five.

Hilarious!

Man, that was funny stuff. I laughed all the way through this movie.

Nice work on the fight choreography. The final punch/flip was a killer. I can imagine the other folks at the beach were either completely confused or about ready to call the cops.

Did you get some ideas from "Banana Phone"? Anyhow, great work on this movie.

An interesting idea.

Ok, so let me get this straight. I watch your movie, then click on a country's flag and pay a dollar to have my click recorded? No thanks.

It's a good idea, but it's not worth a buck. If there was at least a game involved that might make it worthwhile. Perhaps users should have to make a goal and then they get to record the goal for free or half price.

Oh well. I can only pray that the proceeds are going towards something worthwhile (read "charity").

Scorer responds:

Thanks for your review, some good points for once. No, the flags take you through to a site where people can view how scoring is going and choose to buy a goal for their country or not. Just a silly idea I had, for a way of getting serious voters and for not having mass-voting by one person. Only devoted fans may vote! Thanks anyhows.

It is naive to think you can change people. It is equally naive to think you shouldn't try.
