A very well done movie!

See, this is exactly why we ned to put more money into the space program. We need to get off this planet before it fricken' kills us! Besides, we don't want to topple the elephants and turtles. :-)

A sweet music video!

Holy crap! I never knew that was a Ween song. I think I heard it as part of a car advertisement or something because it rings a bell, but I'm not sure why. I haven't knowingly listened to ween since my college days when they put out "Pure Guava".

Anyhow, all nostalgia aside, this is a great little music video. The animation is quite smooth and the techniques used are appropriately varied from soft focus to blurs to faux 3d. I enjoyed the change of scenery of the main character and the fact that the whole adventure ended up being a dream (?).

I also really like your artistic style, the camera angles, the titel and credits screens and basically just everything about this piece. I must have watched it about 10 times over the last few days. I love it. Fivitty-five-fiver for you!

Funny stuff! I love it!

This has to be the funniest movie I have seen on Newgrounds in quite a while!

The characters are great, the animation is smooth and professional, the sound is great, the voices and voice acting is top notch, the hookers are funny, the art is nice and clean, the ... wait ... hookers?

Fantastic work!

What a great opening! Wow! I can't wait to see more!

I do have one very minor gripe with the dialog. The initial opening with the two brothers would have been even cooler if the audience didn't know they were relarted until the end of their dialog. I.e. "Then you will die. Brother." Then move on to the "Ten years later". Not that it really took away fro mthe overall movie, mind you. Just a thought to add to the suspense/intrigue.

Wow!

Superb work. I'm not sure what else to say.

This film reminded me a lot of a simply animated short about a murder and it's aftermath that was shown on liquid television from 91-93.

Exellent work. A very good piece.

First off, anyone who thinks that these killers had no other choice but to go on a murderous ranpage is wrong. The whole "the system is to blame" argument is fundamentally flawed. People who think they cannot be "heard" unless they do something horrendous have a severe lack of morals, personal responsibility, and frankly, imagination. Any idiot can buy a gun and commit murder. It takes real internal fortitude to do the right thing and rise above by bettering yourself. That is what a real man would do.

The "you don't know what it's like" argument doesn't hold water either. EVERYONE knows what it's like on one level or another. We've all been there.

Ok, now that I have that out of my system. This was a great piece. The artistic effort put into this movie was truly excellent. The music and artwork were very well matched and set the mood quite well. The camera shots were also well thoguht out and executed. I really felt drawn into the story.

I found the audio to be pretty lacking. I'm guessing a little too much compression was used to squeek in under Newground's 5MB size limit.

I also enjoyed reading the artist notes. There is a good amount of clear thinking and rational thought shown there.

Well done.

A great short!

I must admit that until I say the word "hell" in the lyrics I thought this might be a song from The Wiggles. It really sounds a lot like them. Of course, the credits completely put that theory out to pasture.

Nice animation, fun song, altogether very cute and fun.

Meh.

When I saw this on the front page, I really thought I was asbout to watch something of much higher quality. Granted, it's only been 24 hours since the attacks, but I'm really not impressed.

Don't get me wrong. I despise anyone who can kill innocent people. In my book, it's eye-for-an-eye time. I'll wager that most people feel this way.

I just didn't find this movie very engaging, nor technically exciting.

Superb work!

I haven't written a review in a while, but this piece made me want to do so.

I love the artistic style you have used. At first glance it looked like this would be a true stick movie. I was happily surprised to see I was wrong. Althoguh the main character is simply drawn, he is no ordinary stick figure. Also, the "broken" feel to the scenery really added to the feeling of ambiance.

The sound effects were fantastic. I even more enjoyed this film because there was no dialogue. All too often artists feel the need to add dialog and it ends up sounding really forced. By avoiding dialog completely and instead focusing on the art/animation, you have just as good of a story that is much more visceral and real to me.

The fight scenes were dramatic and used great camera angles. I'm glad it was not some completely unrealistic super high energy techno beat slug fest. Those have their place, and this movie was not it. Kudos on that.

Lastly, I really liked some of the special effects used. The glowing slow-mo creature attack scene for instance. I'm not sure the exact concept you were trying to get across here, but it still looked great.

Ok, enough from me. I look forward to reel two.

Awesome!

Fricken' brilliant as always!

I especially loved the spaceship flying and landing sounds. They were hilarious! ... Of course I wouldn't expect anything different from RAB. It's also nice to see bunny get maimed of killed as usual.

Thanks for the second play again link (to skip the godawful singing). That was a welcome addition. :-)

It is naive to think you can change people. It is equally naive to think you shouldn't try.
