Smooth but repetitive.

This is a pretty cool game. The action is very smooth, simple, and straight forward.

Unfortunately, it lacks from a very repetitive nature. Sure the guy hops out of the helicopter from different areas each time, but that's about it. It'd be cool to have the helicopter come in from different places each time, or have trucks show up and drop off squads of people.

Also, things are a little off center by the fact that rolling through a guy kills him so much faster than shooting him multiple times in the head. I don't understand that at all. And why can't I die? I get shot and I lose points?

Don't get me wrong, I like the game a lot because it's very smooth and well done. But I think there are a few fundamental problems with the scoring and shooting system rules. I'd love to see a life meter also instead of just the score bar.

Shoot the birdie!

This is a very well done game. I thought the graphics (the backgrounds) especially were quite good.

It's pretty easy to play and the controls are self explanatory. The sounds were great too.

Good job.

Too suspicious for me folks.

Um ... did you actually draw this or are you one of "those" people. You know. The ones who copy other peoples work and do something half-assed with it.

I find it hard to believe that you did this all yourself. It looks more like you found some line art drawings of Ren and Stimpy somewhere, searched for a few sound effects, tossed them together in a never ending loop, and passed them off as your own.

If you did create the drawings yourself, you obviously have talent. Why would you not clean them up and "finish" the job? Hm.

Neat, but not all that great.

First of all, I'm going to guess that the tutorials you used are commonplace because a pinball game very (VERY!) similar to this was put up recently. That other one also ran too slow and had bad collision detection with the flippers. Just a little too cooincidental.

Otherwise I liked this quite a bit. The style of the graphics was nice and clean. The sound leaved a lot to be desired, but it can easily be ramped up and improved.

Keep working with the ActionScript and you can make some really cool stuff. Check out a game I made in about two weeks, working on and off: http://www.newgrounds.com/port al/view.php?id=32641 (Yeah it's a shamless plug, so what :-)

Good gameplay (and funny too).

Wow!

This is a great 0.5 entry! The gameplay was very simple and worked well. Also, the sounds were well done and the animation/motion/etc was great. The song at the end was really funny too. Did you make that or get it from somewhere? It is very professional.

I would like to see a couple of things added if you're taking suggestions.

1. A cut scene if you manage to kill the bad guys.
2. The pedestrians can be seen at the top of the screen even before they start moing down. I shot multiple people before they even moved.
3. A scoring system would be a good addition. I think kills alone is too simple. Perhaps different targets are worth more or less points.
4. Power ups or obstacles in the road might make sense.

Ok. That's it. Great work! I look forward to the full game.

Oh, almost forgot. I really like the car damage system and HUD. Nice!

Not very good.

1. The music on the title screen is far too loud and abrasive for the game. It just doesn't fit at all.
2. The game itself is very easy since it is almost entirely a simple linear path. The hiding and shooting parts are the only branches on the path. Boring.
3. Don't even get me started on the bad script. Try at least dumping the script into MS Word for a simple (and automatic) check of grammar and spelling first. Jeez.
4. How this movie attained above a three is completely beyond me.

It is slow and simplistic, but it works well.

Wow! This is a great start for a cool game, and the first Flash pinball game I have seen that is worth playing albeit not forever.

Obviously, it is a little bit simple with just a few identical bumpers and two flippers, but it is a great beginning for something bigger and more grand. I also found the speed to be pretty slow. It's smooth so I'm guessing it's playing at 30 FPS, but even on my P600, it's too slow to be really playable at great length. Is there too much ActionScript being run? I'm working on a game that will incorporate a couple thousand lines of code, and it's getting bogged down too, so I wonder.

Anyway, I applaud you on the collision detection, Great work on the accurate circle hits circle deflection. I hope you will develop this more!

Choose your own adventure.

I enjoyed this game very much, but did find the wait at the beginning to be too long ... especially if I died and pressed the try again button. Why do I have to look at the Rushing Hill Assylum sign again?

Anywho, I liked it a lot. I thought the sounds were great. The boss was easy to kill (didn't fight back at all) and the credits were pretty cool.

Keep up the good work.

It is naive to think you can change people. It is equally naive to think you shouldn't try.
