You are right.

I am trying very hard to remove it for you.

Stunning.

I'm stunned. I really do not understand the reasoning behind this "movie". A repeating slideshow of unrelated pictures. Okaaaayy. At least you could have given the audience buttons to move to the next picture or something.

Not much effort = not much score.

Bad, but great!

I love the fact that you can't draw. This makes the style very interesting and you still get the point across. I'm afraid you don't get any points for the story because it's nearly as old as murder itself. However, the movie has a lot going for it and carries it's own weight very well. I really like the subtleness of some of the character's emotions. Well done.

Yow-Za!

Animation: excellent.
Music: fitting and provoking.
Art: first rate.
Story: exciting.
Rating: 9. :-)

Yowza! This looks fantastic! I truly hope that you will get to finish this little beauty. I am worried that it's gonna be 10 Megs though since the teaster is 1.2 already. everything looks really great for this piece.

I would like to see a litle more expression on the characters faces during these fight scenes. Maybe they should grit their teeth a little more or something to add power to their blows. Oh, and when does the goblin-looking dude show up?

Great work!

I dare say it was.

What a great movie. It even had all the parts of a movie including outtakes! I love it! The film noir and absence of speech made this a very interesting piece. I like the smoke trails which I assume took a long time to do. The facial expressions also were very good (albeit sometiems a little odd). I hope you continue to put the time into makeing movies as good as this one.

The only thing I can't figure out about it is the swirling stars at the beginning. Is this is place of some other reason for the character being at a bistro?

smokeshow responds:

haha yes the stars... i'm surprised you noticed.. there is more to the story... feew people will find it, you have to pay close attention!!!! it isn't what it seems,.... well they arn't exactly stars!! they are somthenelse... i'll lket people figure it out :)

That is some amuzing crap you've got there.

Seriously though. I don't know what makes this Whak series so funny, but somehoe I find myself chukling along to it. I think it's the timing (I.E. Whak's "Hey you guy", "What? Auuughhh!" and What 2's when Mr Roper decides to just up and shoot the kid all of a sudden.)

Anyhow, I think everyone will agree that the sound quality is really lacking despite how good the writing may be. The art and animation is great too even if the thing really doesn't make any damn sense at all. Keep it up.

SuperJoe responds:

If only I had another microphone. And the good sense to develope a serious plot, that would take more than a half a minute.
Maybe I'll try to make Whak three make more sense...ish.

This was fantastic!

This movie is an amazing piece of work! I hope you do this professionally because you, my friend, have what it takes. I usually try to tell where the author might want to change or fix something, but I'm having a hard time coming up with anything I didn't like. The storyline is good, the art and animation are top rate, the sounds fit perfectly, and the storyboarding is excellent. Keep up the great work!

This was a great piece!

I love the fact that someone is using Flash to inspire us all with surreal movies like this. The sound matched the mood very well and the art was really different and imaginative. I hope you continue to make movies.

Very nice.

I really liked this movie. The 3D effects were top notch without looking like a simple trace of a 3D sequence. I also really like the style used in the artwork. I think it would be good to include an ending frame that tells the viewer it's the end and offers a repeat button or explanation or credits. Keep up the good owrk.

Fantastic

Well done. I loved the sounds from Unreal. Those really brought me back. :-) This movie was excellent, but I would like to see a smoother transition when the character turns around. The rest of the movement is so smooth that this jerky turn is a little jarring ... confusing even.

It is naive to think you can change people. It is equally naive to think you shouldn't try.
