Great idea!

I love the idea behind this movie. I can see that you really tried to put some good character development into this piece. It was quite simple, yet still maintained its humor.

I would really like to see more interation with other art rather than just going into a painting.

Still, this was pretty fun and the music was a good choice. Well done.

Wow.

That is one powerful goat!

I loved pretty much everything about this movie. The style is great, the art and animation were top notch, the cinematography was wonderful, the music rocked, the intro was funny, and basically the dang whole thing is superb.

I guess I have to watch the first one now. :-)

Great audio

... but a really boring flash. Meh.

Superb work

I haven't seen the play, but I loved this movie. You have a great artistic style that really fit well with the mood. The dark colors and vague shapes really allow the characters and setting more versatility in the viewer's imagination.

Although I really liked the music (always have loved that song), it seemed a little off compared to the action at some points. However, it was a pretty good fit overall and worked better, I think, than adding any sound effects at all.

My favorite part was the actual murder scene itself. The use of the passing subway cars was fantastic. I don't know if this is in the movie/play or you made it up, but it's downright brilliant. Despite what most posters to Newgrounds think, we do not need to see blatant graphic violence to understand what's happening. Kudos to you.

I don't give fives very often, but you got mine.

I is learnereered goof…to0

Charming ... in an odd way.

That's a great movie you have created there. The style was very clean and fit the mood of the piece well. The music choice was also spot on.

I wish it had not had reduced options when right clicking. I would like to have been able to set the quality lower for my slow machine. Fades always kill my frame rate big time and tend to ruin the flow of movies.

You may want to compress your sound a little more too. I would estimate you could drop the file size by 50% or more with better compression.

Anyhow, nice work. I love that the guy didn't pay. Heh heh. I wasn't expecting that.

Funny as all get out.

I had no idea what to expect from this, but I was pleasently surpised. It's nice to see something original for a change. The artwork was perfectly reminicent of a kids story book with the Photoshop effects. Bravo on that.

The narrator's voice and background music were just right too. Overall, this movie was very cleverly put together. It's like Reading Rainbow if hosted by Quentin Tarantino.

I really hope you do more. This was a joy to watch.

(The pirates are "sleeping". Nice.)

Nothing too new here.

The art is quite good in this. I really think it will turn out very nicely. The animation, however, leaves a lot to be desired. Perhaps the style is to have very simple animation, but with scuch nice asrtwork, I would expect more.

The music was interesting but really didn't fit the movie very well. I found it more distracting than anything. If the movie had more energy (action and speed in the animation) it would have worked better for me.

Overall, this is still a good piece, but I see room for improvement.

Looks great!

You have a great artistic style and have really produced some nice visuals with this piece. It is, of course, a little slow playing on my old machine thanks to the complexity of the drawing, but I am not taking that into account in your score.

I would like to have heard better voice acting in this movie, but overall, I really liked it. I see a lot of potential here and eagerly await more of your work.

Oh, and nice job with the rotoscoping!

Superb animation!

This is one of the better displays of art/animation I have seen in some time. I can also see how "Los Dias Sin Dias" influenced you. Very cool.

I was, however, disappointed by the reading of "The Raven". Voice acting can be a very difficult task, especially for poetry. Unfortunately I think that difficulty is eveident in your recitation. The reading did not have nearly the gusto I was expecting, so I was left feeling half satisfied.

Still, this is a great piece and I hope you continue to produce more work of this caliber.

A great artistic piece.

This is an excellent short. Some of the camera angles (from inside bunker) were really great and brought the viewer right into the movie itself.

The soundtrack was very well chosen too. There is no need for any other sounds in this film. Good call on that. Sometimes the loudest noise is the one you cannot hear.

Lastly, if anyone tells you this is too short, they don't know what they are talking about. It's the perfect length. Bravo.

It is naive to think you can change people. It is equally naive to think you shouldn't try.
