Beautiful.

Wow!

The art, style, and animation are amazing! 5, baby!

Meh.

Nothing too fancy here. I like the idea though. Despite the obviousness of it all, I just didn't see it coming. Heh heh.

The art was simple, but smooth. The story was short, but succinct. Good job on this movie.

Oh one thing though. The joke about having every credit be your name might have been funny the first time we all saw it, but now it's just old.

Sweet!

Wow. That was super cool.

I loved the cominations of animation and live action. It really held the whole movie together quite well. The limited bandwidth of the web makes for low frame rates, so the combo looks seamless.

The music was also very fitting and well orchestrated. Nice work!

Sweet.

I've never played (nor even seen) any of the Final Fantasy games, but I still loved this movie. Great work!

I do have one major gripe, though. Consider that not everyone has a fast computer. Either leave in the "Quality" menu option or add your own quality button to the main menu of your movies.

Personally, being forced to watch this in high quality made the animation pretty jerky. That sucks too, because I know your work is actually quite smooth.

Secondly, I couldn't watch any of the extra scenes because I had no chance of beating the minigame. The game became completely "not fun" because of the jerky very difficult mouse movement. Had I been able to drop the quality to "LOW" I might have had a chance, but without that option, forget it.

So, anyhow, great work on this movie. I hope in the future You will add a quality button so I have the ability to view everything.

Very cool.

I always wonder what I should expect from a movie based on the title. This movie does not disappoint.

The rotoscoping was really well done. The movements were just superb. I started to really think that squiggle guy was a real person. Well done.

I like the idea of the squiggle guy coming to sticktopia and meeting with some opposition. It's a great idea. The ending pretty much drops off for no reason, but all in all this is a good flick.

I eagerly await more!

Yeeeehaaawww! Zomborgs ho!

Very cool man! The new title is great. The graphics are nicely done as usual.

I love the scene when the zomborg starts growing back his arm. That was super cool. and very well done.

Somehow I get the feeling our heros will be let into the prison and whatever is coming through the woods will not ... (but only just not).

It would be nice to either have a longer background sound loop or some different ones because the one sound gets a little grating by the end of the movie.

Oh, and by the way, I asked the psychic zomborg if there would be another episode. He said "yes", so it must be true, right? :-)

SPLANKGY responds:

tis true! there will be another episode! I'm glad you liked it dude!

A good start.

Oh how I wish there was more of this to view. I think you are really on to something here. What you have thus far looks pretty good. I think the character style might be a little too cartoony with the big heads. The music is very fitting and really sets the mood. The sound effects, what little there were of them, are fantastic. Please continue this movie. I really look forward to the final product.

Slow, yet superb

Wow. Just "Wow".

The art in this piece is absolutely fantastic. After watching movie after movie willed with subpar art (like mine), this is a breath of fresh air. The artistic style and cinematography are wonderful together. I also really liked the music. It fit quite well with the action and really held the mood.

What I did not like about this movie was the very slow buildup and then significant lack of any real action. It is quite clear from the very beginning that this is a showdown. Then I have to wait through tons of very long scrolling camera moves to get to the action. Although the little proloquesfor each character are nice, they also lack any real action of any kind. In my mind, adding more animation than just the minimal grinding teeth, darting eyes, closing door, and a few blinking lights would really help solve this issue. When the showdown finally does come, I guess I was expecting a little more actual action than some vague weapon blasts.

Ok, I'm rambling. Overall, this movie is superb. Be proud of this work!

poxpower responds:

hmm well for one thing I won't be proud of it.

I liked making the gun FBF thingies. I liked making the blue one best. So that means I at least like making simple FBF. SO maybe one day, I'll actually make some decent FBF :/
But yeah, I guess it is pretty damn dissapointing hahaha big buildup for some flashlights haha

Kinda funny ... at first.

The art was pretty good and the animation was simple, but they definitely got the point across. I had to laugh when this started because it was a funny idea. The humor didn't really last though.

I'm glad you added the closed captioning because some of the words were a little hard to make out at first. The audio, while perhaps appropriate was very grating.

It's good work overall.

FemJesse responds:

Hey it got a little old while I was working on it, too. Right after the second instrumental. Good criticism, my friend!

Nice.

Where is George Orwell when you need him?

This is a great piece. The art, style, and music fit the mood perfectly. The animation is very smoothly done.

I really like the facial expressions and the main character's range of emotions. Well done.

One thing does trouble me. I must admit that I don't really get the ending.

It is naive to think you can change people. It is equally naive to think you shouldn't try.
